Requirements for CSD Registration
Before registering, make sure you have the following:
- A valid South African ID or company registration number
- SARS tax reference number
- Bank account confirmation letter
- BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (if applicable)
- Proof of address
- VAT registration number (if registered)

Visit the National Treasury CSD Portal
- Create a user profile - Complete the required personal or business details.
- Add your business and banking information - The system will verify your data with SARS, CIPC, and your bank.
- Upload supporting documents - Ensure all documents are clear and up to date.
- Get your unique CSD supplier number - You will receive a MAAA reference number upon successful registration.
Already Registered? Update Your CSD Profile
It is your responsibility to ensure your CSD profile remains active and accurate. Suppliers with expired or incomplete details will not be considered for procurement opportunities.
